CHRIST IN ACTION PRAYER is 
an educational and instructional ministry designed to equip and empower the body of Christ from the pulpit to the pew with ‘practical prayer guidelines’ that will help us learn how to cooperate and work in partnership with the Holy Spirit as He not only emotionally heals us, but helps us cope in our daily problems that everyone faces. This course is for those who are gifted to counsel, for those in leadership roles, for people who God has called to this healing ministry, and for others who are curious and interested in learning how to work in partnership with the Holy Spirit to bring emotional healing.

(This manual will be handed out on the first day of class.)
Description Of Training:
In a practical ‘step-by-step’ process, students will learn the following:
A. Students will learn how to cooperate and communicate with the Holy Spirit as they work in partnership to heal unresolved emotional problems.
B. Students will be able to use these prayer guidelines to help them seek the Holy Spirit’s healing guidance and truth to cope with normal daily life stress and challenges.
C. Students will learn how to have an ongoing interactive relationship with the Lord, through His Holy Spirit. They will learn how to invite Him to lead, as they follow Him in His healing journey, which includes learning how to listen to Him, how to ask Him open-ended questions, how to respond to Him, and how to invite the Holy Spirit to have the last say…
D. Students will study the various ways people ‘unknowingly’ resist the Holy Spirit’s healing guidance.
E. Students will learn how to differentiate between their false identities created in childhood and in the world from their true identity formed in Christ.
F. Students will learn various ways people protect themselves from hurt, rejection, anger, judgment, etc., which distracts them from experiencing the fullness of the Holy Spirit’s healing power.
G. Students will gain a broader understanding of those hidden motivations of the heart and mind that create ongoing emotional conflict.
H. People helping People… As students are trained to work in partnership with the Holy Spirit, many of them reach out to family, children, friends, neighbors, and others to help them learn how to cooperate with the Holy Spirit, as He heals them of their emotional difficulties.

Homework:
Christ In Action Prayer training is designed to incorporate cognitive and experiential learning:
1. We will have reading and homework assignments that will invite class interaction and discussion.
2. Christ In Action Prayer cannot be fully understood without ‘true life’ demonstrations that integrate both cognitive and
experiential learning. Therefore, students will observe Dr. Irene Cirillo working partnership with the Holy Spirit, as He heals those individuals who volunteer.
3. Class discussion will follow – Deepening our ‘practical’ understanding of how to work in partnership with the Holy Spirit during Christ In Action Prayer.
(Volunteers are not necessarily the students in class.)
4. Students will also have an opportunity to practice what they have learned by working in partnership with the Holy Spirit during class. They will be observed and supervised by Dr. Irene Cirillo and their
peers.
